MARKHAM, Ont. – The Canadian Women’s Hockey League (CWHL) is pleased to announce that the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre and Spa is the official hotel of the 2013 Clarkson Cup, coming to the City of Markham this March 20-23.

“The Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites is the perfect hotel for a major event such as the Clarkson Cup, creating a warm and welcoming environment for everyone involved, from tournament organizers to the teams themselves,” CWHL commissioner Brenda Andress said. “It will also be a fantastic location for our awards banquet Wednesday, March 20. We are thrilled to partner with them in what is sure to be our best and biggest league championship to date.”

“The Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites has a stellar reputation across the City of Markham and its surrounding communities, from excellent customer service to a top class conference facility,” 2013 Clarkson Cup chair Cathy Pin said. “We’re happy to welcome this high quality establishment on board as one of our event’s biggest supporters, and truly appreciate the Hilton’s enthusiasm and excitement as we get closer to the puck drop on the 2013 Clarkson Cup.”

"We at the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre and Spa are very proud to be the official hotel sponsor of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League’s 2013 Clarkson Cup, and look forward to welcoming the league, its players, as well as sponsors to the City of Markham,” Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites general manager Patrick Regina said. “This partnership gives us the unique opportunity to encourage CWHL fans that may not have experienced the City of Markham before, or perhaps stayed at our property, to give us a try. We are confident that once they stay with us, we will transform their hotel experience and they will come back to our hotel and great city again.”
